Junior actuarial trainee with up to 18 months experience required for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of product development including model building, profitability analysis, setting premium rates, assessing Solvency II capital requirements, experience analysis and reviewing product documentation.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Support the development of new products and modification of existing products. This includes defining product features and setting prices which achieve the target metrics.
•Contribute to the production of pricing papers ensuring sufficient levels of detail on target market, sales volumes, methodology, assumptions, profitability, risks and mitigation techniques in order to enable senior management to make fully informed decisions.
•Develop, improve and maintain pricing models for product development purposes.
•Support the successful implementation of new product developments into the company’s systems and assist in the testing.
•Support the day to day monitoring of all existing products. This includes monitoring of key economic factors, claims experience and business volumes.
•Collaborate with all Company departments in management of the actuarial control cycle; review, analyse, develop and recommend modifications to data, methodologies and assumptions

KEY OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

•An actuarial graduate or part-qualified actuary
•Strong MS Office and actuarial modelling software skills (Prophet and DCS would be an advantage)
•Awareness of general European business environment is beneficial
