Our client is looking to recruit an energetic recently qualified general insurance actuary.
The services they provide include establishing new life, non-life and reinsurance companies, providing Head of Actuarial Function and outsourced actuarial services for insurers and reinsurers, product development and pricing, reserve reviews, capital adequacy, risk assessment and management, formulating market entry and distribution strategies, mergers & acquisitions and portfolio transfers. They have also expanded successfully into other areas of consulting work, notably advising public sector bodies on policy-related issues.

The role;
They are looking to recruit an energetic recently qualified general insurance actuary.
You will join the growing general insurance team of the largest insurance actuarial consultancy in Dublin. They currently have clients ranging from Government departments to industry bodies, and including all the main insurance companies, spanning both the domestic and cross-border markets.
The role will have exposure to all aspects of general insurance business, encompassing topics such as
? Pricing, including predictive analytics;
? Reserving, including independent reviews;
? Capital management, for both Standard Formula and Internal Model firms; and,
? Risk management consulting.
You will be a self-starter, a good communicator, and be able to fit in well with their team. You will be expected to keep up to date with all current developments in the Irish general insurance market, and to engage in research activities. You will value the opportunity to nourish and develop your entrepreneurial skills, and to meet new people.
