Our international client seeks a nearly newly qualified actuary to join their Valuations team.
Support the Head of Valuations including;
o Timely and accurate production of actuarial items for Solvency and IFRS
o Explanation of changes between reported results and previous plans
o Maintaining appropriate and auditable controls, reconciliations and documentation with respect to valuation, cash flow testing, data and model changes
o Liaison with Finance Department to ensure suitable and consistent reserving and accounting practices
o Work closely with colleagues throughout the Group, particularly in overseas offices
The skillset for this job will include:
o Nearly Newly Qualified Actuary
o Very strong technical ability & analytical skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
