The Non-Life Legal Entity & Solvency II team is a team providing actuarial oversight, constructive challenge and support, in addition to fulfilling its required regulatory responsibilities. It has responsibility for the Group and legal entities within the Group.

As part of the Non-Life Legal Entity & Solvency II team you will be involved in a variety of activities including:
- supporting the Solvency II quarterly process ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner. This includes supporting the:
- calculation of the Solvency II Technical Provisions and Non-Life Underwriting Risk SCR
- quarterly reporting to relevant committees and to Group
- annual reports on Solvency II Technical Provisions
- input into ORSA
- internal audit activities
- maintenance of documentation of key processes, procedures and results
- involvement in the peer review of the reserving work performed by the first line team, including taking part in meetings with Finance, Pricing, Underwriting and Claims.
- providing support to Risk and Group Finance on the ORSA, key EBS and SCR deliverables
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Nearly/Newly qualified actuary
- High motivation, team-orientation and adaptability
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in English
- Ability to work under pressure within prescribed deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop and translate new ideas into effective business solutions
- Advance proficiency in data analytics and strong MS Office or other modelling software knowledge
