Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Regulatory Affairs will lead a small team (of 3 people) responsible for the regulatory and consumer information functions. As a member of the Senior Management Team, this person will also contribute to the overall strategy and management of the organisation. Our client seeks a suitably qualified, experienced and committed individual to take up the role of Head of Regulatory Affairs.
The successful candidate will possess:
• A qualfied actuary.
• Proven analytical and technical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent judgement and decision-making skills
• The ability to work on his/her own initiative; and
• Be a self-starter who can work well under pressure and to tight statutory deadlines and who has the ability to operate effectively and efficiently.
For the successful implementation of this role, there are a number of key relationships to be fostered and developed within the organisation, with stakeholders and with external bodies. As a staff member the holder of the post will be expected to actively contribute to and participate in the overall development of the organiation.
