Our client assists Healthcare industry leaders in measuring and protecting against financial risk, while identifying strategic and operational opportunities, all of which are geared to help them understand and better manage the financial risk associated with their Health and Welfare plans.

Your responsibilities will include -
• Actuarial Function responsibilities
• Reserving and financial reporting
• Risk Equalisation
• Risk Management
• Financial analysis
• Claim experience and financial analysis
• Regulatory filings
• Pricing and plan design

You will demonstrate -
• Independence of thought and ability to challenge colleagues regardless of grade.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability.
• Adaptable, with a keen interest in developing your technical and commercial capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of the health insurance industry and ability to apply that knowledge in practical and commercial situations.
• Actively assisting clients with prudential supervisory submissions such as Solvency II quantitative reporting, RSR/SFCR, ORSA and Recovery Planning;
• Supporting technical regulatory queries
• Participating in clients' regulatory reporting and disclosures to the market;
• Growing your knowledge as changes in legislation and guidance are drafted and published;
• Work towards becoming the subject matter expert in a relevant topic;
• Assist in the production of operational reports, management updates and client proposals.

You will -
• Work with colleagues across several practice areas and internationally.
• Work in close proximity with project leaders and clients.
• Display a high level of understanding of market issues and extensive business awareness to assist clients in understanding and modelling risks effectively.
• Assist in the successful delivery of a wide variety of engagements, including the development of client relationships in order to enhance our reputation and brand.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes and business objectives and use this knowledge on assignments.
• Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital development through research activity.
