Solvency II Analyst

We are looking for an ambitious actuary to join our dynamic and high-performing team. You will play a key role in Solvency II reporting, ORSA, Budget, New Business value, and more. This role is perfect for an actuary eager to engage in a variety of technical tasks crucial to  decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and verify model points for Solvency II calculations
• Update assumptions in the Prophet model and perform reasonability checks
• Run quarterly BEL calculations for Life and Health Underwriting SCR
• Deliver timely results through internal reporting channels
• Support Analysis of Change on BEL and SCR
• Gather information for and deliver Solvency II Qualitative Reporting Templates (QRTs)
• Review budget results and contribute to commentaries and presentations
• Calculate prospective Own funds and SCR for ORSA scenarios
• Assist in setting new Best Estimate assumptions for Solvency II reporting

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, or Finance
• Studying for an actuarial fellowship (UK Institute of Actuaries, Society of Actuaries in Ireland, or equivalent)
• Experience in Solvency II reporting, ORSA, budget-related tasks, and Prophet software is highly desirable
