Actuarial & Reserving | NNQ Actuary | Non Life

Reporting to the team lead, your role will be to provide an advanced level of actuarial support and mentor more junior members within the team.

Key responsibilities will be: 

•  Assist/own processes and calculations with limited levels of supervision within the relevant area.
  •    Own and develop the commercial lines reserving process
  •    Improve commercial lines capabilities within the Actuarial Function
  •    Use appropriate software packages, ie. SAS, ResQ and Microsoft suite
  •    Ensures data accuracy and checks at all stages
  •    Ability to effectively communicate and manage a process
  •    Assist other members of the area where appropriate
  •    Ability to review and check others work where appropriate
  •    be responsible for own area of expertise and assist with work across the function
  •    Interact and provide data with several teams across the company
  •    Report/present results to a senior level
  •    Interactions required with external auditors and other parties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
 •    2+ years of relevant work experience within an actuarial function.
•    Completed actuarial exams OR well progressed on exams and high responsibility.
