Your Key Responsibilities

- Solvency II
- IFRS 17
- Financial reporting
- Reinsurance & capital management
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Financial and actuarial transformations
- Insurance portfolio acquisitions
- Due diligence
- New company authorisations
- Regulatory reporting
In particular, we are looking for a life actuarial manager to join our team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Actuarial Managers are involved in the successful delivery and management of actuarial and multidisciplinary projects, including both the relationship with clients and the performance of the internal team.
- The successful candidate will be expected to drive the production of client deliverables, with an emphasis on quality and teaming. They will have a responsibility for assisting with the management and development of more junior colleagues.
- They will look to develop several areas of technical excellence, participating in the research and development required to support the growth of these fields of expertise. They will be expected to adopt an account management mind-set, identifying client specific needs. They will be able to positively promote the strategy, services and values.
- They must be confident and credible in taking the lead in both client interactions and with more junior colleagues.
- Previous experience in managing more junior staff and delivering projects
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving and managing multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both in written and oral format
- Focus on deadlines, discipline and process, yet flexible and pragmatic
- Professional attitude and demeanour
- Confident dealing with clients
- Qualified Actuary, ideally with a minimum of 3 years PQE experience in life insurance/reinsurance or life consultancy, preferably with IFRS 17 or related experience
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Awareness of the challenges facing the life insurance industry
