Our client is recruiting a Pricing Analyst with Data Science experience to join the Risk Pricing team within their Pricing & Underwriting Department.
Reporting to the Risk Pricing & Pricing Sophistication Manager, your role will be to support the pricing function within the company to achieve overall financial targets for all classes of business / channels / territories written by the company.
You will work in a team of analysts and actuaries, while your main responsibilities will include:

Reporting to the Risk Pricing & Pricing Sophistication Manager, your role will be to support the pricing function within the company to achieve overall financial targets for all classes of business / channels / territories written by the company.
You will work in a team of analysts and actuaries, while your main responsibilities will include:
- Support Pricing Management to deliver tasks for accounts as assigned as part of the annual objective setting process.
- Build data pipelines using data science and Machine Learning techniques to solve business problems.
- Maintain and improve data science pipelines.
- Derive insights from analysis of large internal or external data sets and recommend potential business uses.
- Must hold a numerical degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Sciences, a Masters in these areas would be beneficial but not a requirement.
- Proven experience using R or Python and Machine Learning required
- Experience of SQL programming with the ability to perform effective and efficient querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
- Good understanding of machine learning models and data science process (feature engineering, modelling etc.) required.
- Proficient in using code or analytical tools for modelling, visualisation, data manipulation and processing.
