Senior Pricing Actuary (12 month FTC)

The key purpose of this role is to provide pricing recommendations and actuarial support to senior management in Pricing and Underwriting.

This is a 12-month contract role.

Your role will involve:

•  Providing pricing recommendations and performance analysis insights to senior management.
•  Leading technical pricing projects across multiple lines of business to enhance technical capabilities and pricing sophistication.
•  Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders across the business to deliver pricing and product innovations.
•  As a senior member of the pricing team, helping to mentor and develop more junior team members.
•  Representing the pricing team at cross-functional discussions.
•  Maintaining and improving appropriate MI capabilities to enhance insights and analysis.
•  Supporting the delivery of monthly & quarterly reporting on key forward looking profitability indicators and business flows.
•  Ensuring that pricing deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.
•  Providing support to management for strategic planning.

Skills and qualifications relevant for the role include:

• Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with minimum 5 years’ experience; preferably working in GI pricing or reserving however candidates with suitable experience in other areas will also be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or other similar area of study.
