The Group Risk product is designed to provide insurance benefits such as death in service and salary protection benefits on a group basis for employees paid by their employer. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of work ranging from Group Risk quotations to analytical and development work, which will draw on their technical and communications skills along with providing expert technical support to the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
? Prepare Group Risk quotations with responsibility for pricing and reviewing Group Risk schemes
? Analyse the particular risks of each scheme and price the scheme appropriately taking those risks into account
? Work with a range of key stakeholders in providing a service to our Group Risk schemes including Reinsurers, Multinational Pooling Partners, Underwriting, Sales, Legal, Marketing and Customer Service
? Work with Customer Service to problem solve any issues that may arise on Group Risk schemes
? Analyse and interpret internal and external factors which will have an effect on product structure/pricing or any other aspects of our Group Risk offering
? Work with others across the business to ensure product strategy and product design are aligned to the overall business strategy and plans
? Build relationships at key customer levels to maximise customer engagement and long term value to our business
? Keep up to date with the strategies of other key Group risk providers
? Ensure a proper control framework is in place for pricing models and operational aspects of the department
? Ensure department procedures are up to date and ready for external/internal audit
? Ensure the provision of expert technical support to the business

Essential Key Requirements
• Actuarial Trainee with a minimum of one years’ experience or Group Risk Specialist with relevant industry experience
• Ability to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the life and pensions business, preferably in the Group Risk/Group Pensions market
• Very strong customer focus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential as well as the ability to interpret information and communicate it clearly both verbally and in writing
• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Demonstrated ability in problem solving and managing multiple tasks
• Understanding of the regulatory market in which we operate
