Graduate position reporting directly to the Assistant General Manage. Assisting the Marketing Actuarial team in pricing and designing of products and in the preparation of quotes. The role will lead to significant client contact, account management and business development.

Main responsibilities:

  • Supporting the growth and development of the Life/Health Reinsurance Portfolio
  • Preparing quotations and presentations
  • Development and research of technical pricing bases
  • Assisting in the development of new product ideas
  • Assisting in managing client portfolios
  • Involvement in the implementation of Prophet

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sound IT skills including Excel
  • Sound attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing own workload
  • Highly focused with the ability to see the job through
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and work on own initiative as well as working within a team
  • Ability to work under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible approach to workload
  • Profit testing and product development knowledge would be of advantage
