A bright, talented and motivated actuary is sought to fill a Manager role on the Group Reporting team. This role would suit a curious, ambitious, and innovative actuary who enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic and innovative environment.
The breadth and depth of responsibility of the role will be tailored to suit the skills and experience of the successful candidate who will:
Produce the quarterly capital forecast and capital reporting.
Support the production of the annual business plan and the annual Financial Condition Testing (FCT) of that business plan.
Work with the various reporting teams and the Business to produce various analyses, projections, stress tests and scenario analysis as required. Interpret the analysis and results.
Support the design and implementation of improvements to the capital modelling and the balance sheet projection models (including model governance and controls) to further automate existing reporting, accelerate
reporting timelines and enhance the control environment.
Work with the Actuarial Development, Business Development, Finance and Operations teams to implement new transactions into the production environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
An actuarial qualification with at least three years in a life insurance or life reinsurance environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret model results, review for reasonableness and understand the implications.
An assertive and self-motivated personality with the capacity to work autonomously, as part of a team and across teams.
