EXPERIENCE
Proven experience and advanced knowledge of programming language such as SQL/ Python is an advantage. Data processing and data modelling abilities are an advantage using tools such as Power BI and MS Office.
Honours Bachelor Degree in Data Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or associated discipline.
Experience within an analytical role within a financial services organisation is a necessity. Preferably 3 years+.

- Preparation of costing of proposed benefits and products
- Build, analyse and validate pricing models for price reviews
- Support the ongoing review of pricing practices by developing and recommending improvements to ensure alignment with best practices.
- Provide support to and collaborate with a range of stakeholders by performing relevant and accurate analysis to assist business decision making and support portfolio sustainability.
- Timely and accurate preparation of corporate group analysis and recommendation on client proposition.
- Monitor, assess and report regularly on key factors that are or could influence the growth of the business.
- Development of innovative new products, new products lines, more creative reporting and processes that contribute to improvements in business KPIs
- Provide clear and concise communication of technical actuarial work to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide support services to, and implement ad hoc projects as requested
