Position in the organization:
This is a senior executive position based in The Hague and reporting to the CEO. The position is part of the leadership team.

Purpose of the job:
This position is responsible for deal pipeline and execution thereof. The position has responsibility for opportunity generation and works in structuring and pricing the transactions until the contract is signed after which the deal can be handed off to Valuation and Operations and be part of the in-force block.

Key responsibilities:
? Member of the senior leadership team
? Member of the Global Reinsurance Committee (GRUC)
? Member of the Risk and Capital Committee (RCC)
? Responsible for sourcing and designing transactions working directly with units globally as well as the group leadership
? Responsible for management, evaluation and documentation of all deals from inception to execution
? Responsible for pricing and modelling globally across all product lines
? Responsible for managing actuarial pricing and modelling team
? Responsible for presenting transactions to the RCC and Management Board

Specifically, the position is responsible for –
? The deal pipeline
o Client Relationship Management for customers and prospects ensuring interests are aligned with in-force portfolio consideration and operations
o Liaise with (re)insurers and banks for global relationship management
o Support CEO further as needed

? Transactions (deals, renewals, repricing, restructuring etc.)
o Pricing, pricing model development and validation
o Pricing documentation and stakeholder (Subject Matter Experts) signoffs
o Creation, negotiations, review and signoff on draft treaties
o Pitching to RCC and MB
o Execution of documents together with legal
o Post-close hand-over of models, tools and documentation to valuation and operations
o Ongoing quantitative support to operations where necessary

Requirements:
? Reinsurance experience essential (minimum of 10 years)
? Expert organizational skills
? Expert risk management and financial product pricing experience
? Experience with working in and with different cultures
? Exceptional computer skills including architecture, database and programming
