The Actuarial Function is a second line team providing actuarial oversight, constructive challenge and support, in addition to fulfilling its required regulatory responsibilities.

The Actuarial Function is a second line team providing actuarial oversight, constructive challenge and support, in addition to fulfilling its required regulatory responsibilities.
As part of the Non-Life Actuarial Function, you will be involved in a variety of activities including supporting the Solvency II quarterly process ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner.
This includes supporting the:
- Calculation of the Solvency II Technical Provisions and Non-Life Underwriting Risk SCR
- Quarterly reporting to relevant committees
- Annual opinions on Solvency II Technical Provisions, Underwriting, Retrocession/Reinsurance and the ORSA
- Internal and external audit activities
- Maintenance of documentation of key processes, procedures and results
- Involvement in the peer review of the reserving work performed by the first line team, including taking part in meetings with Finance, Pricing, Underwriting and Claims.
As an Actuarial Analyst in the Non-Life Actuarial Function team your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Studying toward a professional actuarial qualification
- High motivation, team-orientation and adaptability
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in English
- Ability to work under pressure within prescribed deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop and translate new ideas into effective business solutions
