Actuarial Analyst | Life | Product Systems

Our client seeks a graduate or student with 1 to 2 years experience.

Main areas of responsibility will include:

• Calculation and processing of policy corrections.
• Management of workflow to ensure that any corrections to policies are completed in a timely manner.
• To provide a timely service in respect of non-standard illustrations.
• Calculation of premiums payable to reinsurers.
• Produce various regular reports for different internal departments.
• Updating and maintaining procedures and providing high quality documentation.
• Performing Broker Persistency reporting
• Calculation of manual PP charges
• Other work as directed by the Head of Actuarial Modelling & Operations.

Person specification

• Understanding of unit linked products preferably in an international market.
• Experience of similar projects.
• Good communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.
• Self-starter.
• Creative mindset to devise ideas and solutions.
• Ability to organise, sort and interrogate data.
• Excellent analytical skills.
