Our client is seeking a student actuary with 2 years’ experience with excellent soft / technical skills who looking for a change of industry into a Non Life role.
Key Responsibilities:
■ Assist with the reserving function, including the design and maintenance of central reserving models and the processing of reserving data.
■ Assist with the production of Solvency II and IFRS17 Technical Provisions, helping to develop and refine existing models, conduct movement analyses, and set assumptions.
■ Assist with ongoing trend analysis, parameter calibrations and audit requirements.
■ Assist in the design, development and automation of key pricing and reserving processes using R.
Requirements:
■ Degree in a relevant field e.g., Actuarial Science, Mathematics, etc.
■ 2 years minimum experience in an actuarial role (preferably with reserving).
■ Experience with IFRS17.
■ Preferably, some experience with Solvency II.
