Our client is looking for a nearly- or newly-qualified actuary to join their team to provide actuarial services to their clients, advising on a wide range of strategic, regulatory and financial topics. As a non-audit consultancy, their services range from improving the performance of clients’ businesses to M&A, outsourced services, data analytics, Solvency II, and IFRS 17.

Your key responsibilities will include some or all of the following

- Supporting clients by leading projects in all aspects of actuarial work including, financial reporting, solvency reporting, capital management, model development and product pricing.

- Leading project teams, managing the work of other team members, reviewing the quality and progress to ensure timely and accurate delivery to the client

- Working with Heads of Actuarial Function and Chief Risk Officers in meeting business and regulatory requirements relating to these roles.

- Engaging with clients at senior levels to assist them in a variety of areas like financial risk, product distribution and capital issues.

- Enterprise Risk Management to manage risks and meet strategic objectives.

- Corporate restructuring and capital enhancement (demutualisation, securitisation and M&A).
