Purpose of this role:
The Group Actuarial Reporting team is responsible for providing centralised actuarial reporting services for local entities and consolidated group results. This includes reporting of key actuarial metrics as well as detailed balance sheet movement and performance analysis.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and success of the Group Actuarial Centre of Excellence while working in a vibrant and dynamic team.

Key Contribution Areas:
 Key point of contact for senior management of local companies for all actuarial reporting
 Responsible for presenting reports and analysis explaining the changes in key financial metrics to local executive teams and committees as well as Group management
 Engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders in conjunction with local business units, including auditors, regulators, HoAFs, Approved Actuary etc
 Understand local and Group balance sheets
 Understand local business unit requirements and technical challenges in order to deliver high quality information and support ongoing business needs
 Active role in supporting capital management planning and aiding strategic decision making for the local companies
 Integrate future inward and outward reinsurance transactions into actuarial reporting processes working in conjunction with local senior management and the Group Modelling team
 Support the integration of future acquisitions or portfolio transfers into the Actuarial Centre of Excellence
 Manage the production, analysis and review of actuarial reporting deliverables across multiple reporting bases (Solvency II, IFRS and Bermudan EBS)
 Understand in detail the drivers of Profit and Loss in order to provide insights for performance management
 Responsible for ensuring internally developed actuarial cashflow projection model is fit for purpose and the outputs contain the required level of detail
 Responsible for leading and managing a team of both qualified and student actuaries, providing guidance, support, and leadership to all staff members in their operational tasks and in their general development. Lead in the embedding of the risk culture within the team including identification of risks and controls and remedial actions to address all points.
