Permanent Ref No: 2442427 Qualification: Qualified, Nearly / Newly Qualified
The purpose of the role is to conduct capital modelling, planning and profitability reporting, and will work closely with colleagues in Pricing, Reserving, Data Analytics and across various business units within our General Insurance Business. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with senior management to develop and refine the overall business strategy.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Qualified Actuary/Nearly Qualified Actuary
  • 3+ years relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of the General Insurance market and products

  • High level of technical ability, to include extensive modelling experience
  • Competent in using SAS, Python, R, , VBA,  or other relevant software
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Experience of General Insurance financial planning, reserving or pricing
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating and delivering technical solutions to business stakeholders
  • Time management skills, the ability to plan and prioritise workload to maximise efficiency
