Implementation Consultant - Fintech

The Company
Our client is a Dublin based Fintech whose main product is used by asset managers and insurance companies in multiple countries across the world to manage the daily mission-critical investment trading process, investment valuations, charge and tax calculations, unit pricing, accounting and regulatory reporting for unit-linked collective investment funds and individualised portfolio arrangements.
The Position
The Professional Services Team provides product and implementation support to our customers spread across EMEA, Australia and the United States. We are currently looking add to our team of Professional Services Consultants in Dublin, Ireland.
This is a customer facing role with a blend of technical and soft skills required, including consulting, project management, business analysis, enterprise software technical expertise and support.
Implementation support involves engaging with customers to understand their business requirements, configuring solutions, assisting with the addition of new product features, writing and executing test plans and quality assurance, providing test and system integration support.
This is a challenging role but can be extremely rewarding and should appeal to someone who is technically strong and has the relationship management skills to navigate customers through complex implementations.

The following are the characteristics they are looking for in a candidate:
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline e.g. Technical, computing, engineering, business, accounting, actuarial, mathematics.
- Experience with standard business environment software such as MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Highly numerate
- Reliable, dependable and with a strong work ethic
- Organised with the ability to prioritise.
- Articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Tech savvy: Ability to keep up with the latest software trends and strong at technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and also to problem solve autonomously where it is required.
- Experience in a relevant sector is an advantage. This could include Fintech or a fund administration/fund accounting type role, preferably that included a technical aspect e.g. writing system reports, database queries, process re-engineering etc
- SQL experience and/or high-level Excel skills a bonus but not essential.
