The position is based in Dublin and will report to our Head of Non-Life Legal Entity.
The role won’t be entirely comprised of IFRS17 responsibilities, and as part of the wider Legal Entity & Solvency II team you will be provided with the opportunity to provide assistance on other Group related tasks, including GAAP Reserving and Solvency II.
Core IFRS17 responsibilities will include:

Core IFRS17 responsibilities will include:
- Delivering IFRS 17 quarterly and annual reporting requirements for the non life legal entities;
- Maintaining documentation of processes and procedures;
- Working closely with Finance to ensure the efficient production of inputs to quarterly and annual IFRS17 financial statements; and
- Contributing to the monitoring of changes in rules and guidances or market practice relating to the calculation of IFRS 17 requirements.
You will also be responsible for the building and monitoring of the controls process relating to the IFRS17 environment and liaise with external Auditors to provide data required for their quarterly/year-end procedures.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Qualified Actuary or equivalent, with probably at least 5+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Non-life actuarial experience in IFRS17, Solvency II or equivalent either in reinsurance, insurance or consulting is preferred.
- Strong communication and written skills and proficiency in English
- High motivation, team-orientation and adaptability
- Advanced IT, data management and modelling skills; knowledge of SQL in particular would be advantageous.
