Part Qualified | Life | Actuarial Associate

 Responsibilities will include:

• Manage and maintain the Bermuda reporting function in accordance with BMA regulatory rules and Bermuda accounting frameworks (Solvency 2 equivalent).
• Refine models and build tools for Life Reinsurance reserves and capital for annual statements, capital calculations, and management reports.
• Perform source of earnings analysis and help stakeholders understand changes in capital levels.
• Collaborate with team leads and non-actuarial partners to complete annual Bermuda filings and support the approved actuary’s opinion and audited financial statements.
• Review and validate liability cash flows for EBS/BSCR/US GAAP Fair Value.
• Enhance actuarial processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Support future Bermuda reinsurance transaction-related projects.

Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, mathematics, finance, computer science, or other quantitative fields.
• Actuarial related work experience with prior valuation and financial reporting experience preferred.
• Experience with GGY Axis and international accounting frameworks and/or reinsurance is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in VBA is good to have.
• Strong understanding of life and pension products along with industry regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
• Highly organized, collaborative, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
