A bright, talented, and motivated individual is sought to fill a qualified actuary role on our client's Experience Study team. The team is responsible for delivering experience studies to provide insight into transaction performance and to support the development of best estimate assumptions. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a range of reinsurance transactions as well as complex and innovative experience study methodologies and data analytics.
The breadth and depth of responsibility of the role will be tailored to suit the skills and experience of the successful candidate who will:
• Produce regular mortality, lapse and claim experience studies.
• Implement new reinsurance transactions into the experience study model.
• Draft accurate, clear and concise documentation and effectively communicate key insights and results to senior management.
• Support the design, development and implementation of improvements to the experience study methodology, models and processes (including governance and controls) to optimise existing studies, accelerate production timelines and enhance the controls environment.
Ideally suit a newly qualified Actuary up to 5 years' PQE.
