Risk Capital Modelling & Portfolio Analysis | Reinsurer

The position will report to the Head of Actuarial Function. The role will include involvement in all aspects of the quarterly and annual actuarial reporting processes for IFRS and Solvency II, including capital modelling analysis.
 
Role Responsibilities 

• Underwriting risk capital modelling
• Portfolio and claims analyses
• Support complex transactions reviews
• P&C reserving on IFRS and Solvency II bases for a global reinsurance company
• Support Actuarial function topics incl. reporting requirements

Skills & Experience Required

• Relevant experience in an actuarial role in the non-life / general insurance sector, experience in reinsurance is an advantage
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Organised and willing to work under time pressure when necessary
• Team player with the ability to work independently with attention to detail
• Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment

Qualification

• University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative field
• Partially qualified (i.e. some progress towards achieving an actuarial professional qualification and commitment to completing this)
