Senior Actuarial Manager | Business Performance | Life Reinsurance

Our client is now recruiting for a key member of the Actuarial team in reporting to the Actuarial and Business Performance Director.  This role will have responsibility for the direction, production and oversight of planning, reporting and analysis for the Company’s liquidity, collateral, capital, dividend and tax.
  
Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Direction, production and oversight of planning, reporting and analysis for liquidity, collateral, capital, dividend and tax. This will involve working across a number of accounting basis including IFRS17 and Solvency II.
• Providing management with key, insightful information covering both past legal entity composite results and their potential implications in the future. 
• Managing the quarterly collateral process including providing recommendations on hard asset / LOC needs, the production and analysis of longer-term collateral and liquidity projections providing insights as updates emerge 
• Developing local entity Solvency II projections
• Preparation of papers for the Board, Audit Committee and other relevant Committees.
• Support the Actuarial & Business Performance Director in ensuring the effective management of the Actuarial team. This involves mentoring and developing the actuaries in the Actuarial Team

Experience:  

• Qualified Actuary with minimum 5 + years’ experience
• Reserving (Solvency II and IFRS) experience preferable
• Re/insurance experience
