Senior Actuary | Business Planning

The successful candidate will manage delivery of the annual business plan and the annual Financial Condition Testing (FCT) of that business plan.

Role overview:

• Work with various teams to produce analyses, projections, stress tests, and scenario analysis.
• Interpret analysis and results, draft documentation, and communicate key insights to stakeholders.
• Build knowledge and expertise of our client's balance sheet and support Group process and systems initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Group policies, regulatory requirements (OSFI), and professional guidance.

What you will need:

• Actuarial qualification with at least five years post-qualification relevant technical experience.
• Experience in cash flow modelling, financial reporting, capital reporting, ALM reporting, balance sheet projections, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to interpret and understand the Business’ perspective, influence other role holders, plan and organise work, and balance urgency and importance.
• Well-developed blend of technical ability, professional judgment, and commercial awareness.
• Capacity to build relationships, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate complex concepts effectively.
