Qualified Life actuary required for our reinsurance client.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Pricing –
The responsibilities of the role will span all aspects of actuarial pricing and will involve evaluating a range of new business propositions, including;
? Evaluate and supervise new business opportunities sourced from within our world-wide network
? Design and review bespoke reinsurance solutions to meet the various needs of our clients
? Set and review pricing assumptions
? Effectively communicate complex reinsurance solutions and the inherent risks and economics to the Senior Management team including the CEO, CFO, Head of Corporate Actuarial and CRO
? Draft and review treaty wordings and summary documentation
Marketing and Strategy –
? Contribute to the development of our strategy in our key markets
? Identify opportunities to support Business Centres within the network
? Represent the pricing department at various internal workshops
? Assist the Head of Pricing and Marketing to build and maintain strong relationships with the Company’s direct and internal clients
Regulation and Local Marketplace –
? Actively monitor the changing regulatory environment and assess impact on existing business and new business opportunities
? Contribute to discussions within the group on matters affecting new business, product development and economic solvency capital requirements
? Attend international reinsurance industry meetings to monitor developments in relevant markets
