Tasks:
• Monitor and assess the accuracy of the claims reserves
• Develop IBNR calculation models
• Provide monthly reporting on the performance of insurance programs
• Liaise with external actuarial firms for year end certification and other external reviews
• Responsible for the preparation of reinsurance analysis reports
Skills:
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate it effectively to senior management and other audiences as required
• Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines
• Team player who will play an important role as part of a highly specialised team
• Be self motivated, with an ability to identify and introduce new initiatives into the team
Education and Experience:
• Third level qualification in actuarial/statistics/mathematics
• Have completed and passed all the subjects in the CT series and progressing with the CA series of exams
