Our international client seeks a qualified actuary with strong Solvency II experience and very strong communication & influencing skills to support in the production of the Actuarial Function Report and ORSA opinion. In addition the successful candidate will be responsible for managing collateral requirements and optimising collateral solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
Actuarial Function
? Assess compliance with Solvency II requirements
? Assessment of methods and models used to calculate the Technical Provisions
? Review and analysis of Risk Margin results
? Review of underwriting policy
? Assessment of adequacy of retrocession arrangements
Collateral Management
• Management of quarterly collateral process to include:
? Liaising with affiliates in relation to changes in collateral needs
? Propose optimal solutions
? Manage interaction with Financial Operations team and Group Treasury to implement actions
• Production of collateral forecast
• Liaising with Group treasury to manage usage of Letters of Credit
