Pricing & Profitability Senior Analyst

Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical and commercially minded individual to join the team. This role is pivotal in providing key insights and building new models and processes in the pricing and profitability area as the business grows. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced and it rewards talent and collaboration. The role re[orts into the Director of Pricing & Profitability.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute in developing and implementing pricing strategies to shape a competitive position in the market. This includes gathering information about pricing trends and competitor activity to develop price boundaries for all products.
• Support the governance of pricing assumptions to ensure all aspects of the pricing Gross to Net (GTN) are accurately and appropriately represented.
• Work closely with the Data & Analytics team and take own initiative to perform advanced statistical analysis; extract valuable insights and can explain them to non-technical stakeholders (the “what” and the “why”).
• Independently develop pricing models to provide understanding and to support critical decision making with what-if scenarios.
• Help develop processes and reporting, identifying improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify and recommend strategies to optimize pricing programs
• Support business development, commercial services and other strategic initiatives.
• Prepare executive reports and periodic Board reports.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial focus.
• Solid expertise in statistical analysis and data modelling ideally in a pricing context.
• Proficiency in Excel and a statistical tool (e.g. Python).
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
• Capability to work independently under tight timelines.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with positive and action-oriented attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
