Subject to approval from the Central Bank of Ireland we are planning on being a new entrant and challenger brand in our industry. But we can’t do it without a whizz like you, so we’re on the hunt for a top-notch Reserving and Capital Modelling Analyst to join our lively crew.
 
Your Mission, If You’re Up For It:

• Use your strong technical background, top problem-solving skills, and sound judgement to establish a sturdy reserving and capital modelling infrastructure that will see us into the future
• Take the lead in developing and maintaining sharp capital and reserving models, even when we’re a bit thin on the ground with internal data for the moment
• Be the go-to person for all things capital, reserving, and regulation, making sure we will always be there when our customers need us
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Continually monitor and stay abreast of industry developments, trends and regulatory changes that may impact reserving and capital requirements
• Engage with Risk Management to ensure appropriate reflection of reserve and capital uncertainty in the company’s risk profile.
• Collaborate with Product, Pricing, Underwriting, Reinsurance, and Claims teams to align reserving and capital modelling assumptions and outputs
• Make capital, reserving, and risk ideas clear and practical for all sorts of stakeholders

What Makes You Our Perfect Fit?

• Numbers are your playground, and you’ve earned your stripes with a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
• With 2+ years under your belt grappling with long-tailed claims reserving and capital modelling (Solvency II), you’ve earned your battle scars
• You’re a power-packed performer, flourishing in fast-paced environments while blending pragmatism with a rock-solid technical base
• Solving problems comes as naturally to you as breathing, and you’re the type to roll up your sleeves and dive right in
• You have a knack for transforming complex jargon into simple language that anyone can understand
• You’ve got your finger on the pulse of regulatory guidelines and get a kick out of ensuring we’re always compliant
