The Senior Manager, Capital Reporting & Analysis role is a key part of our Actuarial Function, responsible for tasks such as reserve and capital calculations, capital and liquidity projections, detailed capital analysis, and report writing and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quarterly Solvency II actuarial reporting processes, including the calculation of Solvency II technical provisions and the Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR).
- Produce quarterly and annual quantitative reporting templates (QRTs) and collaborate with the Finance Function to deliver the overall Solvency II return.
- Prepare the Actuarial Function Report annually.
- Support business planning and strategic review processes by producing capital projections and analyzing capital generation.
- Lead the process to produce sensitivity and scenario testing for local and Group ORSA processes, Financial Condition Testing (FCT), and business planning.
- Develop a deep understanding of capital position on both Solvency II and LICAT bases to identify trends and capital optimization opportunities.
- Manage and develop a team of actuarial professionals to deliver on the team’s objectives.
- An actuarial qualification (FSAI) or other appropriate professional qualification, with significant post-qualification experience in life insurance.
- Strong technical ability, judgment, and commercial awareness.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight timeframes.
- Knowledge of Solvency II and LICAT reporting or the capability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other functions and lead a team of professionals.
- Strong work ethic, energy, urgency, and priority setting.
- Ability to deliver insights that impact business outcomes.
- Knowledge of the German life insurance market is an advantage
