Excellent opportunity for a student actuary in a combined Pricing & Reporting role.
Key Result Areas
? Assist the Pricing Actuarial Manager in monitoring day to day issues that impact the profitability of the business and ensuring that the technical features of new IT developments are implemented correctly on the systems.
? Support the Head of Actuarial Function
Responsibilities include:
? Perform profit testing and financial projections on the new/old products;
? Support the Risk Team providing the metrics needed to finalise the Product Approval Process for all products developed by the company
? Analyse and maintain up to date the knowledge of the regulator requirement
? Maintain up to date technical knowledge on the unit linked and variable annuities market and identify opportunities for potential growth;
? Monitor day to day issues that impact the profitability of the business.
? Update the company technical assumptions to be presented to the assumption committee ;
Ideally suited to a part qualified actuary making progress with actuarial exams.
